Education index

The Education Index is a part of the United Nations' Human Development Index (HDI). The Education Index measures adult literacy rate, counting 2/3; and school enrollment ration (from primary through to secondary), counting 1/3.
It measures not what it most interesting, the quality of the curriculum and the quality of the education methods. For many developing countries, are these factors of far greater importance than the universal enrollment rate. Even worse, the Education Index reflects absolutely nothing in relation to higher education in a country.
LookLex includes the Education index not because of its general usability, but more as a warning. The Education Index is incorrectly named, and must never be used to indicate the general quality of education at all levels in a country.
All in all, 176 countries are listed.
