The dark inner chambers



The seven sanctuaries hold some of the finest bas-reliefs, in many of them the original colours remain.
In all seven, a door is carved out in the rear wall, but it was only the one in Osiris' that was real. Behind it is an inner sanctuary, much larger in size, but with decorations of modest quality. This is the secret part of the temple, and to its right side there were 3 more chambers dedicated to Isis, Seti and Horus.
