The 75 metre long courtyard gives access to a selection of important smaller temple buildings on the eastern side. As seen on the photo above, on the top: The Roman Birth House, the Coptic basilica and in the front the Birth House of Nectanebo. Not in the picture is the Sanatorium.
Looking closely on the photo, you will spot traces of an outer wall in the lower right corner. This was originally there, giving the temple a complete different appearance than today.
