Osorkon 2

Tomb of Osorkon 2, Tanis, Egypt

Osorkon 2 ruled Egypt from 874 until 850 BCE, a time of relative peace and prosperity. His tomb is claustrophically small, just allowing the space of standing men around the sarcophagus. Yet, there are some nice wall-decorations, the nicest is above the door (upper photo). Tomb of Osorkon 2, Tanis, Egypt
