FARWA ISLAND /
The flat palm island

Low scale, and different, Farwa will attract some travellers. Others will find little else of interest out here than the mere novelty of an offshore island in Libya. About 4,000 palm trees, sand dunes, and some tiny villages. Some beaches are reported to be fairly good.

Farwa Island, Libya
Eat and Sleep
A tourist complex, which is principally catering Libyan tourists.

Transportation
It should be possible to get out to Farwa by the new causeway. But still the most charming arrival will be by one of the small ferries that run between Farwa and Abu Kammash.
