Asilah is by some visitors considered one of the most attractive towns in Morocco, others think of it as too clean and well-kept. I clearly belong to the first group, and object strongly to the latter opinion: There is nothing in Moroccan culture that prevents locals to take great care of their towns, it is usually only a question of lack of money.
