Cap Rhir may easily be passed, but both to its north and south are attractive spots for swimming and surfing. Surfing is especially popular from the southern beach. Around Cap Rhir there are no facilities, so this is the place for those with their own transport, bringing everything they need. The nearest normal locations for hotels, restaurants and more are Agadir 42 km south and Essaouira 130 km north. Before Agadir, though, both Taghazoute at 24 km from Cap Rhir and Aourir at 28 km offer some amenities.
