LAAYOUNE: Place Mechouar No Moroccan city would be complete without: The big central square where there is nothing to protect you against the strong sun. Laayoune's is one of the nicer ones, even if the maintenance budget must be very small these days. The Place Mechouar is made up of 4 towers, with the Plais de Justice as the focal point.
