This small stopover, is almost only designed by and built by the governments, and has little to offer besides being a true and genuine trading post for this large region. If you hit it on the right day, it very much comes alive, and you can do everything from doing eye shopping of buckets and car parts, or do the real tourism, and start haggling on Berber carpets or jewelry. To my great surprise my travelling company met a group of vendors that showed us carpets, jewelry, tucked us into traditional clothes, had us make photos, but who wished us a friendly and respectful goodbye when we left without buying anything.
